This exclusive, brand new course will give you an inside look at the newest developments of Dutch primary education (children in the age of 4 – 12).

Since 2013 the Netherlands have retained and even solidified their first position on the league table of child well-being. At the same time the achievements of Dutch children belong to the best in the world.  

What’s the secret of Dutch education? 

During this course you will be able to see this with your own eyes. You will also learn about the latest developments, which aim to keep adapting education to the needs of each individual child, living in an ever-changing society. You will go home filled with inspiration and new, concrete ideas that you can incorporate immediately in your teaching. 

You will have a unique chance to pick up knowledge during two extensive school visits, a visit to a university, learning from your fellow participants and a range of workshops and presentations on various innovative topics. Additionally, during the course you have the opportunity to set up a mini-project between your class and a class abroad of a fellow participant.
